From 1777 to 1791, the Vermont Republic was a state that stood on its own. Held fast by the Green Mountain Boys, we were neighbors who settled disputes over kitchen tables as often as in courthouses, and we were families who weathered winters the way Vermonters still do: together, sometimes with a little whiskey for good measure. This Rye honors those fourteen bold years when Vermont was rugged and free, proof that independence can be both hard won and warmly shared.

Produced hyper-locally and with minimal intervention, VRR is a love letter to the Green Mountain State’s history and culture. Republic Rye's flavor profile begins with a nose of toasted oak, baking spices, and candied apricot. On the palate, you'll find caramel and butterscotch, followed by a malted chocolate finish.
